Cookie policy

This policy is effective as of October 11, 2026. Please note that
this cookie policy will be updated from time to time.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by websites you visit. It gets sent back to the website on subsequent visits or to another webpage recognizing that cookie. Cookies help websites function efficiently and provide information to website owners. This information may be used to offer personalized and responsive services. Cookies can be either first-party cookies set by us directly on your device or third-party cookies set by a third-party provider on our behalf. When you use this system, information may be collected through cookies and similar technologies like scripts and local storage.

This Cookie Notice is part of our privacy notice. For more information about us and how we process personal information, please refer to our privacy notice.

Cookies we use and why

Our system uses cookies of these two kinds:

Strictly necessary

Essential for the site and cannot be switched off. They remember your cookie choice and the language of the page.

Statistics

We use these cookies for statistics only after you click Accept. They count visits and show us which pages are read, so that we can see how our site is used and improve it. They are Google Analytics and our own visitor record. Our own system keeps one record for each browser: the pages opened and when, the referring site, campaign tags, browser language and time zone, device type, operating system, browser, screen size, the random browser number of Google Analytics, a click number if you arrive from an advertisement, the network address (IP) of your connection, and from that address the country, region, city and the organisation or internet provider it belongs to.

Link to your enquiry

We link the visitor record of your browser to an enquiry only if you accepted statistics and you tick the box at the enquiry form: "Link the pages I read on this site to this enquiry, so that you can prepare a better answer." A person at KKBC then sees which pages you read and when. Without the tick there is no link.

To view the cookies used by the system, click the "Update Your Cookie Preferences" button at the top of the page.

Cookies on this website

How long do cookies remain on your device?

The duration of cookies on your device depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" cookies. Persistent cookies are stored by a web browser and remain valid until their expiration date, unless manually deleted before expiration. Session cookies expire at the end of your web session when the browser is closed.

How can you manage cookies?

You can manage cookies in several ways. Please note that removing or disabling certain cookies may affect your user experience, and some parts of the system may not function properly.

You can change cookie preferences and settings for non-essential cookies at any time by clicking on the "Manage Cookie Preferences" option at the top of this Cookie Notice.

To change or withdraw your choice, use "Update your cookie preferences" at the top of this page or "Cookie settings" at the bottom of each page. If you change to Reject, we delete the statistics cookies of the table, we collect no new data, and we delete the visitor record of your browser from our own system automatically. The enquiry itself stays. Cookie list last updated: October 11, 2026.

You may also adjust your browser settings to manage cookies. For detailed instructions, visit http://www.aboutcookies.org/.

If you have any inquiries kindly submit your request via our contact us form.

You have the flexibility to modify your cookie preferences at any time through our cookie consent manager.
